The Multiquip 3345171803 Left Side Side Door is a genuine OEM replacement designed for the DCA40SSAI ultra-silent diesel generator. As a direct factory replacement, this door is manufactured to the same specifications as the original, ensuring a proper fit within the enclosure panel system of the DCA40SSAI. Sourced directly through authorized Multiquip supply channels, this part carries the confidence of genuine OEM quality backed by DHS Equipment.
Key Features
- Genuine OEM Panel Construction — Manufactured to the same material grade, gauge, and dimensional tolerances as the original door, ensuring the enclosure maintains its structural integrity and weatherproofing.
- Left Side Specific Fitment — Designed exclusively for the left side panel position on the DCA40SSAI enclosure; installs directly into the existing hinge and latch points without alteration.
- Compatible with DCA40SSAI — Confirmed fitment for the DCA40SSAI ultra-silent diesel generator series, so you can order with confidence.
- Enclosure Integrity Restored — A damaged or missing side door exposes internal generator components to the elements; replacing it promptly protects critical electrical and mechanical systems from moisture, dust, and debris.
- Acoustic Performance Maintained — The DCA40SSAI enclosure is engineered for low-noise operation; a properly fitted OEM door preserves the sound-dampening design of the generator cabinet.
The side door on an ultra-silent generator enclosure serves as both a protective barrier and a key component of the machine's noise-reduction system. It shields internal components — including the engine, alternator, and electrical systems — from weather exposure and physical damage while also contributing to the cabinet's sound attenuation performance. When a side door is damaged, bent, or missing, the generator becomes vulnerable to moisture ingress and operating noise increases, both of which can affect equipment longevity and suitability for noise-sensitive job environments.
