Wacker Neuson WP1540 and WP1550 genuine OEM exciter maintenance kit. This exciter maintenance kit includes all the necessary components to service the exciter lubricant on your WP1540 or WP1550. This kit includes exciter lube and an o-ring.

SERVICE NOTE: New style Wacker WP1540, WP1550 plate compactors require 75W-90 gear oil for the exciter. If you're not sure if you have a new style plate compactor, contact us for confirmation. If you use the incorrect oil in the exciter, you will cause catastrophic damage!

IMPORTANT FITMENT NOTE: Before ordering, confirm the ITEM NUMBER on the data tag of your machine. This part only fits the specific WP1540 and WP1550 ITEM NUMBERS noted below.

  • Includes one (1) o-ring 0088848, 5000088848
  • Includes 5oz of exciter lube
  • The exciter oil should be changed every year, or after every 300 hours of operation
  • New style Wacker WP1540, WP1550 plate compactors require 75W-90 gear oil for the exciter. If you're not sure if you have a new style plate compactor, contact us for confirmation. If you use the incorrect oil in the exciter, you will cause catastrophic damage!
