The Bomag 54203029 Assembled Air Filter Cover is a genuine OEM component designed for BT 60 and BT 65 tampers. Sourced directly from Bomag, this cover delivers an exact match to the original part, ensuring the air filtration system stays properly protected and sealed. It fits both the BT 60 and BT 65 tamper models, making it a straightforward like-for-like replacement for worn or damaged covers on these machines.
Key Features
- Genuine OEM Construction — manufactured to Bomag's original specifications, with correct dimensions and material grade to seal and protect the air filter housing without compromise
- Direct Drop-In Replacement — engineered to match the original mounting points and fastener locations on BT 60 and BT 65 tampers for a straightforward swap
- Confirmed Tamper Fitment — verified compatibility with the Bomag BT 60 and BT 65 tamper models; always cross-reference part number 54203029 before ordering
- Air System Protection — a correctly fitted cover keeps contaminants, dust, and debris out of the air filter assembly, maintaining clean airflow to the engine and preventing premature filter wear
- Long-Term Assembly Integrity — the assembled format means all cover components arrive ready to install, preserving the integrity of the air filtration housing from day one
The air filter cover shields the air filter assembly from dust, debris, and moisture that tampers routinely encounter on compaction sites. By keeping contaminants away from the filter element, the cover helps maintain consistent, clean airflow to the engine — critical for fuel efficiency and engine longevity on a machine that operates under continuous vibration loads. When the cover is cracked, broken, or missing, the filter element is exposed to dirt ingestion that can accelerate engine wear and lead to costly internal damage.
