The Bomag 05011670 Fuel Filter is a genuine OEM component designed for BW 177 D-40, BW 177 D-50, BW 177 DH-50, BW 177 PDH-50, and BW177D 40 single drum rollers. As a direct OEM replacement, this fuel filter delivers an exact fit against the original specification, giving operators confidence that their machine is protected at the fuel system level. Sourced directly from Bomag, part number 05011670 ensures correct compatibility across the BW 177 series single drum roller lineup.
Key Features
- Genuine OEM Filtration Media — manufactured to Bomag's original filtration specification, ensuring the correct particle capture rating and flow characteristics for the BW 177 series engine
- Drop-In Replacement Fit — engineered to match the original filter housing thread, sealing surface, and dimensions for a straightforward service swap with no adaptation
- Broad BW 177 Series Coverage — fits BW 177 D-40, BW 177 D-50, BW 177 DH-50, BW 177 PDH-50, and BW177D 40 single drum rollers
- Engine Protection Where It Counts — clean fuel delivery keeps injectors and fuel system components free from contaminants that cause premature wear and power loss
- Fuel System Integrity — using the correct OEM-spec filter prevents unfiltered fuel from bypassing the system, reducing the risk of injector damage and unplanned engine servicing
The fuel filter's job is to remove contaminants — dirt, debris, and water — from the fuel supply before it reaches the engine's injection system. On heavy single drum rollers like the BW 177 series, clean fuel is essential for consistent engine output and long injector life. When the fuel filter becomes clogged or degraded, fuel flow is restricted, leading to rough running, power loss, hard starting, and, if left unaddressed, damage to downstream fuel system components.
