The Bomag 06052687 Fuel Pump is a genuine OEM component designed for the RS 500 and RS 460 recycler/stabilizers. Sourced directly from Bomag, this fuel pump meets the exact engineering specifications required for these machines, ensuring a correct, trouble-free installation. This OEM part is the straight factory replacement for worn or failed fuel pumps on RS 500 and RS 460 units, giving operators confidence in both fit and function.
Key Features
- Genuine OEM Fuel Delivery Specification — engineered to the exact flow rate and pressure output required by the RS 500 and RS 460 engine systems, with no risk of under-fueling or pressure mismatch
- Direct OEM Replacement — mounts and connects to existing fuel system fittings exactly as the original, allowing a straightforward swap with no adaptation
- Confirmed Fitment — verified for the Bomag RS 500 and RS 460 recycler/stabilizers; always cross-reference part number 06052687 before ordering
- Sustained Engine Performance — a correctly functioning fuel pump maintains consistent fuel pressure to the engine, supporting full power output during demanding stabilization and recycling passes
- Fuel System Integrity — a failed or weakened pump can cause hard starting, loss of power, and unplanned stoppages mid-operation; replacing with a genuine OEM unit restores proper system pressure immediately
The fuel pump is responsible for drawing fuel from the tank and delivering it at the correct pressure to the engine's fuel system. On heavy recycler/stabilizers like the RS 500 and RS 460, consistent fuel delivery is critical — these machines operate under sustained high-load conditions, and any drop in fuel pressure can cause the engine to lose power or stall at the worst possible moment. When a fuel pump begins to wear, symptoms typically include hard starting, rough running, and a noticeable drop in engine response; replacing the pump promptly with a genuine Bomag part restores full fuel system performance.
