The Bomag 05570917 Heater Blower is a genuine OEM component designed for the RS 500, RS 460, and RS460 Stage V recycler/stabilizers. Sourced directly from Bomag, this heater blower matches the original unit in every dimension, connector, and airflow specification — no guesswork on fitment. It is the correct replacement for operators maintaining cab climate control on RS-series recycler/stabilizer machines.
Key Features
- Genuine OEM Motor Performance — matched to the original blower motor's speed and airflow output, ensuring consistent heat distribution throughout the operator cab
- Direct Cab Replacement — installs into the existing heater housing using the original mounting points and electrical connectors, with no adapter or modification needed
- RS-Series Coverage — confirmed fitment for the RS 500, RS 460, and RS460 Stage V recycler/stabilizers, covering both standard and Stage V emissions variants
- Sustained Operator Comfort — a functioning heater blower maintains cab temperature in cold-weather operations; a failed unit leaves the operator without heat or demisting, affecting visibility and comfort on long shifts
- Electrical Integrity — as a genuine Bomag part, the motor winding and connector spec align with the machine's OEM electrical system, avoiding voltage mismatch or premature failure
The heater blower is the motorized fan unit within the cab's heating and ventilation system. It draws air across the heater core and pushes warm air into the operator cab, regulating temperature and keeping the windshield clear of condensation and frost. When the blower motor fails — whether due to worn brushes, seized bearings, or electrical fault — the heating system loses airflow entirely, leaving the cab cold and visibility compromised. Replacing the blower with a correct-spec unit restores full climate control and keeps operators working in comfort regardless of ambient conditions.
