Key Features
- Genuine OEM Refrigerant Integrity — manufactured to Bomag's original pressure and material specifications, ensuring the AC circuit holds charge without seepage at connection points
- Direct-Swap Installation — matches OEM routing, diameter, and end fittings so the hose seats correctly without reworking brackets or adapters
- Confirmed Fitment — verified for BW 177 D-5 and BW 145 D-5 single drum rollers; order by part number 05556919 to ensure you receive the correct assembly
- Cab Comfort Protection — a sound AC hose maintains system pressure, keeping the operator cab cool and allowing crews to work productively in hot conditions
- System Safety — a cracked or deteriorated hose can leak refrigerant, posing environmental and health hazards; replacing it promptly with the correct OEM part keeps the system sealed and compliant
The AC hose assembly carries refrigerant between the major components of the air conditioning system — the compressor, condenser, and evaporator — under varying pressures and temperatures. A healthy hose maintains the sealed circuit that allows the AC system to cool the operator cab effectively. When an AC hose cracks, swells, or loses a secure fitting connection, refrigerant escapes, the system loses cooling capacity, and the compressor can be damaged from running without adequate charge — making timely replacement essential for both comfort and equipment protection.
