The Bomag 05727203 Oil Bath Air Filter is a genuine OEM component designed for the BPR 50/55 D reversible vibratory plate. Sourced directly from Bomag, this filter delivers an exact fit with no guesswork on compatibility. It is engineered to protect the engine on the BPR 50/55 D by trapping airborne dust, debris, and particles before they reach critical internal components. Keep your machine running cleanly with the correct OEM part number 05727203.
Key Features
- Genuine OEM Filtration Media — manufactured to Bomag's original air filtration specification, ensuring the oil bath captures the same particle size and volume as the factory-installed unit
- Direct Fit for the BPR 50/55 D — engineered specifically for the BPR 50/55 D reversible vibratory plate, seating correctly in the factory air filter housing without modification
- Engine Protection Where It Counts — a properly functioning oil bath air filter prevents abrasive dust ingestion that leads to accelerated cylinder, piston, and valve wear on diesel-powered compaction equipment
- Maintains Consistent Airflow — correct oil bath filtration sustains the air-to-fuel ratio the engine needs for stable power output and smooth compaction performance across the full working cycle
An oil bath air filter uses an oil reservoir to capture and hold dust and debris drawn in with intake air before it can enter the engine. As air passes through the oil, heavier particles are trapped in the fluid, while cleaner air continues to the combustion chamber. When this filter becomes saturated or the oil deteriorates, filtration efficiency drops sharply — allowing abrasive contaminants to reach engine internals, causing premature wear and reduced engine life. Regular servicing and timely replacement of this filter are essential for maintaining reliable engine performance on diesel-powered vibratory plates like the BPR 50/55 D.
