Key Features
- Genuine OEM Cooling Integrity — Built to Bomag's exact flow rate and impeller specifications, ensuring the cooling system performs as originally engineered on the BW 138 AC-5.
- Direct-Fit Replacement — Matches the original mounting configuration and port dimensions of the BW 138 AC-5 tandem roller for a straightforward swap during scheduled service or emergency repair.
- Verified Fitment — Confirmed compatibility with the BW 138 AC-5 tandem roller; order with confidence knowing this is the correct part for your machine.
- Protects Engine from Overheating — A functioning water pump keeps coolant circulating continuously; a worn or failed pump risks thermal damage to the engine and costly unplanned repairs.
- Authorized Bomag Part — As a genuine OEM component, part number 65270124 meets Bomag's quality and durability standards for the cooling systems fitted to their tandem roller line.
The water pump is responsible for circulating coolant through the engine and cooling system, drawing heat away from critical engine components and maintaining safe operating temperatures. On a machine like the BW 138 AC-5 tandem roller, which operates under sustained load during asphalt compaction, consistent coolant flow is essential to prevent overheating and engine stress. When a water pump begins to fail — through seal wear, impeller degradation, or bearing failure — coolant circulation drops, temperatures rise, and the risk of serious engine damage increases rapidly.
