The Honda 04813-VH7-K50 Grass Bag Kit is a genuine OEM replacement designed for the HRX217 lawn mower. Sourced directly from Honda, this kit delivers the exact fit and construction the HRX217 was engineered around, ensuring the bagging system performs the way it was designed to. Verify your mower's serial number against the fitment table to confirm this is the correct version for your unit before ordering.
Key Features
- Genuine OEM Construction — manufactured by Honda to the same specifications as the original bag assembly, so capacity, airflow, and attachment points match what came on the mower from the factory.
- Direct Replacement for the HRX217 — engineered specifically for the HRX217 lawn mower, this kit installs using the original mounting points without modification.
- Restores Full Bagging Performance — a worn, torn, or collapsed grass bag reduces clipping capacity and disrupts airflow through the deck; replacing it with this kit brings collection efficiency back to its original level.
- Serial Number Verification Recommended — Honda updates components at production breaks, so check your mower's serial number against the fitment table to confirm part number 04813-VH7-K50 is correct for your machine.
The grass bag kit is the clipping-collection assembly that mounts to the rear discharge chute of the HRX217. As the blade cuts, airflow through the deck carries clippings up the chute and into the bag, where they are retained until the operator empties it. When the bag fabric tears, the frame deforms, or the attachment hardware fails, clippings blow back onto the lawn instead of being collected cleanly. Replacing this kit restores the sealed airpath the system depends on, keeping the deck clear and the clipping load off the turf.
