The Honda 16531-ZC3-000 Governor Slider is a genuine OEM component designed for the EX350 inverter generator. Sourced directly from Honda, this part carries the same specifications as the original and is the correct replacement when the governor mechanism requires service. Confirm your unit's serial number against the fitment table before ordering to ensure this is the right part for your specific EX350.
Key Features
- Genuine OEM Precision — Honda-sourced with the exact geometry needed for correct governor travel and response in the EX350 inverter generator.
- Direct OEM Replacement — Matches the original slider in form and function, allowing a straightforward swap during governor service without machining or modification.
- Serial Number Verification Recommended — Honda supersedes parts at production breaks; check your EX350's serial number against the fitment table to confirm part number 16531-ZC3-000 is correct for your unit.
- Restored Governor Response — A worn or damaged slider causes erratic engine speed under load; replacing it brings governor operation back to spec and stabilizes output.
The governor slider is a moving component within the mechanical governor assembly that translates changes in engine speed into corrective throttle movements. As engine load increases or decreases, the governor mechanism shifts, and the slider guides that motion to maintain a consistent speed. When the slider wears or breaks, the governor loses the ability to respond accurately, causing the engine to hunt, surge, or fail to hold steady speed under load — all of which affect the quality of power the EX350 delivers.
