The Honda 16574-ZA0-L00 Lever Spring is a genuine OEM replacement designed for the H4514 lawn tractor. Sourced directly from Honda, this part is manufactured to the same specifications as the original, ensuring a direct, hassle-free installation. Because Honda supersedes parts at production breaks, confirm your tractor's serial number against the fitment table before ordering.
Key Features
- Genuine Honda OEM — manufactured by Honda to original specifications, so the spring rate and return tension are exactly what your H4514 tractor's lever mechanism requires.
- Direct Replacement — matches the original part geometry for a straightforward swap with no modification to the lever assembly.
- Lever Return Integrity — a worn or fatigued spring loses its ability to return the lever cleanly, leading to sluggish or inconsistent control response; replacing it restores crisp lever action.
- Serial Number Verification Recommended — Honda updates part numbers at production intervals, so checking your H4514 serial number against the fitment table ensures you receive the correct supersession.
The lever spring provides the return tension that pulls a control lever back to its neutral or rest position after the operator releases it. On the H4514 lawn tractor, this spring is essential to consistent, responsive lever operation — keeping controls from sticking or drifting out of position. When the spring weakens or breaks, lever action becomes imprecise or fails to return entirely, affecting the operator's ability to control the tractor reliably.
