The Honda 17505-ZC8-003 Fuel Meter Assembly is a genuine OEM component designed for EB11000 generators and GX620 and GX630 horizontal shaft engines. As a direct Honda OEM part, it is manufactured to the exact tolerances and specifications of the original, ensuring accurate fuel level indication from the first installation. Confirm your machine's serial number against the fitment table before ordering, as Honda supersedes parts at serial breaks and this assembly must match your specific unit.
Key Features
- Genuine OEM Accuracy — sourced directly from Honda, this assembly delivers the same calibrated fuel level readings as the original unit it replaces, so operators always know exactly how much fuel remains.
- Direct OEM Replacement — engineered to the original mounting specifications for a straightforward swap with no modification needed to connectors or housing.
- Broad Fitment — compatible with EB11000 generators and GX620 and GX630 horizontal shaft engines, covering a wide range of Honda commercial equipment.
- Serial Number Verification Recommended — Honda updates parts at production serial breaks, so always cross-check your machine's serial number against the compatibility table to confirm this is the correct assembly for your unit.
The Fuel Meter Assembly monitors the fuel level in the tank and displays it to the operator, typically through a float-and-gauge mechanism that moves in response to how much fuel is present. Keeping the operator informed of remaining fuel prevents unexpected shutdowns mid-operation — a critical consideration on commercial generators and large-displacement engines running extended duty cycles. When the assembly fails or reads inaccurately, operators lose visibility into fuel levels, risking run-dry conditions that can interrupt power supply or cause the engine to stall without warning.
