The Honda 17510-Z43-B30ZA Fuel Tank (Mat Black) is a genuine OEM replacement designed for EB2800 and EG2800 inverter generators. As a direct Honda OEM component, this fuel tank is manufactured to the same specifications as the original unit, ensuring a proper fit without the guesswork that comes with non-OEM alternatives. Confirm your generator's serial number against the fitment table before ordering. The mat black finish matches the OEM color of the covered models.
Key Features
- Genuine Honda OEM Construction — sourced directly from Honda, this fuel tank meets the same dimensional and material standards as the tank it replaces, ensuring correct capacity and connection points for the EB2800 and EG2800.
- Correct Color Variant — finished in mat black to match the original appearance of these inverter generators; verify this (Mat Black) designation matches your unit before ordering.
- Inverter Generator Fitment — designed specifically for EB2800 and EG2800 inverter generators; check your serial number against the compatibility table to confirm this is the right tank for your production run.
- Fuel System Integrity — a cracked, leaking, or warped fuel tank compromises fuel delivery and creates a safety concern; replacing it with the correct OEM unit restores proper fuel supply to the engine.
The fuel tank stores the gasoline supply that feeds the engine of the inverter generator. It connects to the fuel valve and carburetor, delivering a steady, controlled flow of fuel to keep the generator running. When the tank develops a crack, warp, or leak — through impact, age, or fuel degradation — the engine may run erratically, stall, or fail to start altogether. Replacing it with the correct OEM tank restores the fuel system to its original operating condition and eliminates the risk of fuel loss at the source.
