The Honda 17510-ZB6-010 Fuel Tank is a genuine OEM component designed for the EX2200 generator. As a direct Honda OEM part, it is manufactured to the same specifications as the original, ensuring a proper fit and correct fuel capacity for the application. This fuel tank is the right choice when the original is cracked, leaking, or otherwise damaged and needs a clean, reliable replacement. Confirm your generator's serial number against the fitment table before ordering to make sure part number 17510-ZB6-010 is the correct match for your unit.
Key Features
- Genuine Honda OEM Construction — manufactured by Honda to the exact shape, capacity, and connection points of the original tank, so this part installs without alteration to the fuel system.
- Direct EX2200 Fitment — designed specifically for the Honda EX2200 generator; no reworking of mounting points or fuel lines required.
- Restores Fuel Containment — a cracked or leaking fuel tank starves the generator of a steady fuel supply and creates a hazard; replacing it with this OEM tank returns the generator to full operating condition.
- Serial Number Verification Recommended — Honda updates parts at production serial breaks, so cross-check your generator's serial number against the fitment table to confirm this is the correct tank for your EX2200.
The fuel tank stores the gasoline supply that feeds the EX2200 generator's engine, maintaining a consistent flow of fuel to the carburetor during operation. A tank in good condition keeps the fuel system sealed, preventing evaporation, contamination, and leaks that can interrupt power output or create a safety concern. When the tank is cracked, warped, or corroded to the point of leaking, the generator will run inconsistently or not at all, and replacement with this genuine OEM part is the straightforward remedy.
