The Honda 17738-SP0-003 Fuel Pipe Clip (Black) is a genuine OEM component designed for BF75, BF90, BF115, and BF130 outboard motors. As a Honda OEM part, it is manufactured to the exact specification of the original, ensuring a correct, secure connection at the fuel line without modification. Confirm your motor's serial number against the fitment table before ordering, as Honda supersedes parts at specific serial breaks across these outboard models.
Key Features
- Genuine OEM Fuel Line Security — manufactured by Honda to hold fuel pipe connections firmly in place, preventing the loosening or weeping that a worn or fatigued clip can cause on a running outboard
- Correct Color Identification — the black finish matches the original clip, helping technicians identify and reinstall the correct component during fuel system service
- Direct OEM Replacement — supplied under part number 17738-SP0-003 and fits BF75, BF90, BF115, and BF130 outboard motors; verify your serial number against the compatibility table to confirm the right clip for your unit
- Serial Number Verification Recommended — Honda updates outboard parts at serial breaks, so cross-referencing your motor's serial number with the fitment table is the surest way to confirm this clip applies to your specific unit
A fuel pipe clip retains the flexible fuel line at its connection point within the outboard's fuel delivery system, preventing the hose from backing off under vibration or fuel pressure. On a marine engine that runs in demanding on-water conditions, a failed or missing clip can allow fuel to seep at the joint, disrupting fuel flow and creating a hazard. Replacing a worn clip with the correct genuine OEM part restores a tight, properly retained connection and keeps the fuel system functioning as Honda designed it.
