The Honda 23221-VD6-000 Countershaft is a genuine OEM replacement built for H3011 and H3013 riding mowers. Sourced directly from Honda, this part is manufactured to the exact specifications of the original component it replaces. Confirm your mower's serial number against the fitment table before ordering, as Honda supersedes parts at serial breaks and more than one part number may cover these models.
Key Features
- Genuine Honda OEM — manufactured by Honda to match the original countershaft specification, ensuring the correct dimensions and engagement characteristics for the drivetrain in H3011 and H3013 riding mowers.
- Direct OEM Replacement — designed as a drop-in replacement for the original shaft, this part installs without modification using Honda's standard assembly procedures.
- Confirmed Fitment — designed specifically for H3011 and H3013 riding mowers; verify your serial number against the compatibility table to confirm the correct part for your unit.
- Drivetrain Integrity — a worn or damaged countershaft causes loss of power transmission, slipping, or irregular drive behavior; replacing it restores smooth, consistent power delivery through the mower's transmission.
The countershaft is an internal transmission component that transfers rotational power between shafts within the mower's drivetrain. It works as an intermediate link in the gear train, allowing the correct speed and torque ratios to be delivered to the drive wheels. When the countershaft wears, develops play, or fails, the mower may lose drive, slip out of gear, or transmit power unevenly — replacing it with a genuine Honda part restores the transmission to proper working order.
