The Honda 24366-758-010 Change Arm Shaft is a genuine OEM replacement designed for H4514 and H4518 lawn tractors. Sourced directly from Honda, this part is manufactured to the same specifications as the original, ensuring a direct, hassle-free installation. Confirm your tractor's serial number against the fitment table before ordering, as Honda updates parts at defined serial breaks and the correct version matters for proper fit and function.
Key Features
- Genuine Honda OEM Quality — produced to the same standards as the original shaft, maintaining the precise fit and engagement the change arm mechanism depends on
- Direct Replacement — an exact match for the original component on H4514 and H4518 lawn tractors, designed to install without modification
- Serial Number Verification Recommended — Honda revises parts at serial breakpoints, so cross-check your tractor's serial number against the fitment table to confirm this is the correct version for your unit
- Restore Proper Transmission Control — a worn or damaged change arm shaft can cause imprecise or unresponsive gear selection; replacing it restores crisp, consistent control of the drive system
The Change Arm Shaft is a key linkage component within the transmission control system of the H4514 and H4518 lawn tractors. It transfers input from the operator's gear or speed selector through the change arm assembly to the transmission, enabling smooth and accurate drive engagement. When this shaft wears, bends, or fails, the result is sloppy, inconsistent, or completely unresponsive gear selection — replacing it promptly returns the tractor's drivetrain to proper working order.
