The Honda 28461-Z45-003 Starter Grip is a genuine OEM replacement designed for the EU3200 inverter generator. Sourced directly from Honda, this part matches the original in fit and form, so the recoil starter operates exactly as intended. Verify part number 28461-Z45-003 against your unit's serial number before ordering to confirm you have the correct version for your generator.
Key Features
- Genuine Honda OEM — an authentic replacement part manufactured to Honda's original specification, not an approximation of it.
- Correct Pull Feel — the grip's geometry and material match the original, giving the operator the same comfortable, secure hand position on every pull.
- Direct Fit for the EU3200 — designed specifically for the EU3200 inverter generator; no cutting, trimming, or adaptation needed.
- Serial Number Verification Recommended — Honda updates parts at production breaks, so cross-check your generator's serial number against the fitment table to confirm this is the right grip for your unit.
The starter grip is the handle attached to the end of the recoil starter rope on the EU3200 inverter generator. When a user pulls the grip, tension is applied to the rope, which spins the recoil starter mechanism and cranks the engine over to start it. A cracked, torn, or missing grip makes the starter uncomfortable and difficult to use, and in a worn state it can slip from the hand mid-pull — replacing it restores a positive, confident pull every time the generator is started.
