The Honda 31127-ZB4-631 Stator Cover is a genuine OEM component designed for Honda EB3500, EG3500, EM3500, and EX3300 generators. As a direct Honda OEM replacement, this cover is manufactured to the same specifications as the original part, ensuring proper fit within the generator's alternator assembly. Confirm your generator's serial number against the fitment table before ordering to make sure part number 31127-ZB4-631 is correct for your specific unit.
Key Features
- Genuine Honda OEM — sourced directly from Honda, this cover matches the original in form and fit, maintaining the integrity of the alternator housing it encloses.
- Correct Alternator Housing Fit — engineered to seat precisely over the stator assembly, keeping internal generator components properly enclosed and protected during operation.
- Broad Generator Compatibility — fits EB3500, EG3500, EM3500, and EX3300 Honda generators, though Honda does supersede parts at serial breaks, so verify your serial number against the fitment table.
- Restored Stator Protection — a damaged or missing stator cover leaves the alternator's windings and stator exposed, which can lead to contamination and generator output faults; this replacement restores proper enclosure.
The stator cover encloses the stator assembly inside a conventional generator's alternator, shielding the stator windings from dust, debris, and mechanical contact. In a conventional generator like the EB3500, EG3500, EM3500, and EX3300, the stator is the stationary winding that works with the rotor to produce AC power, regulated through an automatic voltage regulator. A cracked, broken, or missing stator cover compromises this protection, risking contamination of the windings and disruption to consistent power output.
