The Honda 31147-PT0-003 Screw Washer is a genuine OEM Screw Washer designed for a wide range of Honda equipment, including BF115, BF130, BF135, BF140, BF150, BF175, BF200, BF225, and BF250 outboard motors, the H6522 compact tractor, and HS1336 and HSM1336 two-stage snow blowers. As a direct Honda OEM component, this part is manufactured to the exact specifications Honda requires for proper fastening in these applications. Always verify your machine's serial number against the fitment table before ordering, as Honda updates part numbers at specific serial breaks.
Key Features
- Genuine Honda OEM — sourced directly from Honda, this screw washer meets the exact specifications called out in the original assembly for each covered model.
- Broad Fitment Coverage — fits Honda BF-series outboard motors from the BF115 through the BF250, the H6522 compact tractor, and HS1336 and HSM1336 two-stage snow blowers, including models in each of these equipment classes.
- Serial Number Verification Recommended — Honda issues part supersessions at specific serial breaks, so confirm your unit's serial number against the fitment table to ensure this is the correct version for your machine.
- Combined Fastener and Bearing Surface — the integrated washer face distributes clamping load evenly, helping the fastener seat correctly and stay secure through vibration and operational stress.
A screw washer combines the function of a threaded fastener and a flat washer into a single captive component. The washer face spreads the clamping force over a wider surface area than a bare screw head alone, preventing the fastener from pulling through or damaging the mating surface during assembly. When a screw washer is missing, damaged, or substituted with an incorrect part, the assembly may not clamp properly, potentially allowing movement or loosening under the vibration loads these machines encounter in regular use.
