The Honda 31252-PD2-006 Bush Rubber (Mitsuba) is a genuine OEM replacement designed for EV4010, EV6010, and EVD4010 RV generators and the GD410 horizontal shaft diesel engine. As an authentic Honda part, it is manufactured to the same specifications as the original, ensuring a correct, drop-in fit without modification. Confirm your machine's serial number against the fitment table before ordering.
Key Features
- Genuine OEM Integrity — sourced directly from Honda, this rubber bush matches the original compound and geometry, preserving the vibration-dampening performance the assembly was designed to deliver
- Exact-Fit Replacement — engineered as a direct replacement for the Mitsuba starter application, this part installs without adaptation across the compatible lineup
- Broad Fitment — covers EV4010, EV6010, and EVD4010 RV generators as well as the GD410 horizontal shaft diesel engine; verify your serial number against the fitment table to confirm the correct application
- Starter System Function — a failed or degraded rubber bush transmits excessive vibration and can accelerate wear on surrounding starter components, making timely replacement important for continued smooth operation
The Bush Rubber (Mitsuba) is an anti-vibration rubber isolator within the starter assembly, dampening the shock and vibration generated each time the starter engages. By absorbing that mechanical stress, it protects surrounding starter components from accelerated wear. When this rubber bush deteriorates — cracking, compressing permanently, or breaking apart — the starter assembly loses its cushioning, vibration increases noticeably, and other components in the starter circuit are exposed to impact loads they were not designed to handle alone.
