The Honda 31750-769-003 Regulator Rectifier is a genuine OEM component designed for the H5518 multi-purpose tractor. Sourced directly from Honda, this part meets the same specifications as the original unit installed at the factory. If your H5518 is experiencing charging problems, a dead battery, or erratic electrical behavior, this Regulator Rectifier is the correct OEM replacement to restore proper operation. Always verify your machine's serial number against the fitment table before ordering to confirm this is the right part for your unit.
Key Features
- Genuine OEM Charging System Integrity — sourced directly from Honda, this Regulator Rectifier delivers the exact voltage regulation and rectification characteristics the H5518 electrical system requires, not a close approximation.
- Direct OEM Replacement — designed to swap in as a direct replacement for the original unit on the H5518 multi-purpose tractor, using the same mounting points and electrical connections.
- Protects Battery and Electrical Components — a failing regulator rectifier can overcharge or undercharge the battery, leading to premature battery failure and damage to other electrical components; replacing it promptly keeps the charging system functioning correctly.
- Serial Number Verification Recommended — Honda updates parts at specific serial number breaks, so confirm your H5518's serial number against the fitment table to ensure part number 31750-769-003 is the correct version for your tractor.
The Regulator Rectifier performs two essential jobs in the H5518 tractor's electrical system. It converts the alternating current (AC) produced by the charging coil into direct current (DC) that the battery and electrical accessories can use — that is the rectifier function — and it regulates the output voltage to prevent overcharging, which is the regulator function. When this component fails, the battery may not charge at all, or it may be overcharged and damaged; in either case, the tractor's electrical system becomes unreliable until the Regulator Rectifier is replaced.
