The Honda 32171-V09-A01 Headlight Sub-Wire Harness is a genuine OEM component designed for the HA4118 and HA4120 lawn tractors. As a direct Honda OEM part, it is manufactured to the exact specifications of the original harness it replaces, ensuring correct connector fit and proper integration with the tractor's headlight circuit. Honda produces this harness for both the HA4118 and HA4120 — confirm your model and serial number against the fitment table before ordering to ensure you have the correct part for your unit.
Key Features
- Genuine Honda OEM Wiring — factory-sourced harness with correct connector geometry and wire routing for the headlight circuit on HA4118 and HA4120 lawn tractors, eliminating the guesswork of aftermarket fitment.
- Exact Connector Match — OEM connectors seat and lock as intended, maintaining a secure electrical connection without splicing, adapting, or re-pinning.
- Covers Both Tractor Variants — part number 32171-V09-A01 is listed for both the HA4118 and HA4120; verify your serial number against the compatibility table to confirm applicability to your specific unit.
- Restores Reliable Headlight Operation — a damaged or degraded sub-harness can cause intermittent lighting, no-light conditions, or circuit faults; replacing it with this OEM part brings the headlight system back to its original operating condition.
The headlight sub-wire harness is the dedicated wiring loom that carries power from the tractor's main electrical system to the headlight assembly. It routes and protects the conductors that control headlight function, connecting to the main harness at one end and the headlight socket at the other. When this sub-harness becomes damaged, corroded, or develops an open circuit, the headlights may flicker, fail to illuminate, or draw power intermittently — replacing it restores consistent, dependable lighting for low-light operation.
