The Honda 43143-Z1V-000 Holder Base is a genuine OEM component designed for GXV160 vertical shaft engines. As a direct Honda OEM part, it is manufactured to the same specifications as the original and carries the correct fit for GXV160 applications. Verify your engine's serial number against the fitment table to confirm this is the right version for your unit before ordering.
Key Features
- Genuine Honda OEM — sourced directly from Honda, this part matches the original in form and fit, ensuring proper installation on GXV160 engines without modification.
- Correct GXV160 Fitment — built specifically for the GXV160 vertical shaft engine; always cross-reference your engine's serial number with the fitment table to confirm the right part for your serial range.
- Structural Integrity — a properly functioning Holder Base keeps its associated component securely positioned; a cracked or missing base can lead to misalignment and operational issues in the engine assembly.
The Holder Base is a structural mounting component within the GXV160 vertical shaft engine, providing a stable seating point that keeps its paired component correctly positioned during operation. When this base cracks, breaks, or wears, the component it supports can shift or become unstable, potentially affecting engine performance or causing further damage to surrounding parts. Replacing a damaged Holder Base with a genuine Honda OEM part restores proper alignment and keeps the assembly functioning as intended.
