The Honda 53155-899-801 Upper Hanger Bracket is a genuine OEM component designed for a wide range of Honda generators and water pumps, including EB, EM, EMS, and EU series generators, EW series welder generators, and WT series water pumps. As a direct Honda OEM part, it is manufactured to the same specifications as the original, ensuring a correct fit on compatible units. Because this bracket spans multiple product lines, confirm your model and serial number against the fitment table before ordering.

Key Features

  • Genuine Honda OEM — sourced directly from Honda, this bracket matches the original in geometry and mounting interface, so no guesswork is involved when reinstalling.
  • Broad Compatibility — fits Honda EB3000, EB3500, EB4000, EB5000, EB6500, EB7000, EM3000, EM3500, EM4000, EM5000, EM7000, EMS4000, EMS4500, EU6500, EW140, EW170, EW171, WT20, and WT30 units.
  • Serial Number Verification Matters — Honda revises parts at specific serial breaks, so cross-check your unit's serial number against the fitment table to confirm this is the correct bracket for your machine.
  • Structural Integrity — a damaged or missing hanger bracket compromises the mounting system; replacing it with the OEM part restores proper support to the assembly.

The Upper Hanger Bracket is a structural mounting component that provides a secure attachment point on the frame or housing of compatible Honda generators and water pumps. It works as part of the overall support assembly, keeping internal or external components properly positioned during operation. When this bracket is bent, cracked, or missing, the mounting arrangement it supports can shift or loosen, leading to vibration, misalignment, or component wear over time.
