The Honda 75538-771-L00 Blade Brake Arm is a genuine OEM component designed for the CD2038, H2013, and H2113 lawn tractors. As a direct Honda OEM replacement, this part is manufactured to the same specifications as the original, ensuring proper engagement and release of the blade brake system. Confirm your tractor's serial number against the fitment table before ordering, as Honda supersedes parts at serial number breaks and more than one version of this arm may have been used across production runs.
Key Features
- Genuine Honda OEM Construction — sourced directly from Honda, this Blade Brake Arm matches the original component in geometry and function, so the brake mechanism operates exactly as designed.
- Correct Blade Brake Operation — a worn or damaged arm can prevent the blade brake from engaging or releasing cleanly; replacing it with this OEM part restores positive, consistent blade stopping performance.
- Fits CD2038, H2013, and H2113 Lawn Tractors — designed specifically for these Honda lawn tractor models; confirm your serial number against the fitment table to ensure this is the correct version for your unit.
- Serial Number Verification Recommended — Honda updates parts at production serial breaks, so checking your tractor's serial number before ordering is the surest way to confirm you receive the right arm.
The Blade Brake Arm is a mechanical linkage component within the blade engagement and braking system of the lawn tractor. When the operator disengages the blades, this arm transmits the motion that applies the brake to stop blade rotation quickly and safely. If the arm is bent, cracked, or worn at its pivot points, the brake may not apply fully — leaving the blades spinning longer than intended — or may bind and prevent clean engagement altogether. Replacing a faulty arm restores proper control over blade operation and keeps the deck system functioning as Honda intended.
