The Honda 78104-YB4-631 Outlet Pipe (NPTF) is a genuine OEM replacement designed for WB30 and WD30 water pumps. As a direct Honda OEM part, it is manufactured to the exact dimensions and thread specification of the original, ensuring a proper connection at the pump's discharge port. Verify your pump's serial number against the fitment table before ordering, as Honda updates parts at production breaks and this component may not apply to every serial range.
Key Features
- Correct Thread Form — NPTF threading is machined to the original specification, producing a pressure-tight seal at the discharge connection without relying on tape or sealant to compensate for dimensional mismatch.
- Genuine OEM Construction — sourced directly from Honda, this outlet pipe meets the dimensional tolerances the WB30 and WD30 discharge assemblies were engineered around.
- Fits WB30 and WD30 Water Pumps — confirm your serial number against the fitment table, as Honda supersedes parts at production breaks and coverage may vary by serial range.
- Restored Discharge Flow — a cracked, corroded, or stripped outlet pipe causes pressure loss and leakage at the pump outlet; replacing it with this pipe restores full discharge performance.
The outlet pipe carries pressurized water from the pump volute to the discharge hose or hard piping. On the WB30 and WD30 centrifugal water pumps, it forms the threaded connection point where the operator attaches the output line, making a dimensionally correct thread form essential for leak-free operation under pressure. A damaged or cross-threaded outlet pipe will bleed pressure at the joint and can prevent the pump from maintaining flow — replacing it with the correct Honda part, number 78104-YB4-631, is the straightforward fix.
