The Honda 87565-ZA7-000 Fuel Meter Mark is a genuine OEM component designed for a wide range of Honda generators, welder generators, and GX620 horizontal shaft engines. As a direct OEM replacement, this part is manufactured to Honda's exact standards, ensuring the fuel level indicator reads accurately on your machine. This mark is confirmed for models including the EB11000, EB2200, EB2500, EB3500, EB5000, EM1600, EM1800, EM2200, EM2500, EM3500, EM5000, EW140, EW171, EX1000, EX3300, EX4500, EX800, EXW171, and GX620 — always verify your unit's serial number against the fitment table before ordering, as Honda supersedes parts at serial breaks.
Key Features
- Genuine OEM Accuracy — sourced directly from Honda, this mark carries the correct scale and markings to display fuel level accurately on your machine's tank gauge.
- Broad Compatibility — fits Honda EB, EM, EW, and EX-series generators and welder generators, as well as the GX620 horizontal shaft engine; confirm your model and serial number before ordering.
- Direct Drop-In Replacement — this part installs in place of the original with no alteration required, restoring the fuel gauge display to factory condition.
- Serial Number Verification Recommended — Honda updates parts at specific serial number breaks; check your unit's serial number against the compatibility table to confirm this is the correct mark for your build.
The Fuel Meter Mark is the graduated label or decal applied to the fuel tank or gauge window that allows an operator to read the current fuel level at a glance. Without a legible, correctly scaled mark, accurate fuel level readings are impossible, increasing the risk of running a generator or engine dry — which can disrupt power output and accelerate wear on internal fuel system components. Replacing a faded, damaged, or missing Fuel Meter Mark restores clear, dependable fuel level visibility so operators can plan refueling intervals with confidence.
