The Honda 90153-SB2-003 Screw-Washer (5X10) is a genuine OEM fastener designed for Honda BF75, BF90, BF115, BF130, and BF100 outboard motors. As a direct Honda OEM component, this screw-washer is manufactured to the same specifications as the original part it replaces, ensuring a proper fit without modification. Verify your motor's serial number against the fitment table to confirm part number 90153-SB2-003 is the correct listing for your specific unit before ordering.
Key Features
- Genuine OEM Fastener — sourced directly from Honda, this screw-washer matches the original specification for threading, head profile, and washer integration in one combined piece
- Integrated Washer Design — the captive washer distributes clamping load evenly, reducing the risk of surface damage or loosening at the fastener point
- Broad Outboard Fitment — listed for Honda BF75, BF90, BF100, BF115, and BF130 outboard motors, covering a wide range of Honda's four-stroke portable and mid-range outboard lineup
- Serial Number Verification Recommended — Honda supersedes hardware at production breaks, so confirm your motor's serial number against the fitment table to ensure this is the correct screw-washer for your engine
A screw-washer is a single fastener that combines a machine screw and an integral washer into one component. In outboard motor applications, this design keeps assembly consistent by eliminating a loose washer that could be dropped or omitted during service. The integrated washer spreads the clamping force across a wider surface area than a bare screw head alone, helping the fastener hold securely against vibration over the operating life of the motor. When a screw-washer is worn, stripped, or missing, the joint it secures can work loose, potentially leading to misalignment or component damage during operation.
