The Honda 90306-463-740 Battery Terminal Nut is a genuine OEM replacement designed for a range of Honda equipment, including GX620 horizontal shaft engines, EB11000, ES6500, and EX5500 generators, and H1011, H2013, and H2113 riding mowers and lawn tractors. As a direct OEM component, this nut is manufactured to Honda's exact specifications, ensuring a proper, secure connection at the battery terminal. Buyers should confirm their equipment's serial number against the fitment table, as Honda periodically supersedes hardware across production runs.
Key Features
- Genuine OEM Terminal Security — sourced directly from Honda, this nut delivers the correct thread engagement and clamping force needed to maintain a tight, stable battery terminal connection
- Broad Honda Fitment — listed for GX620 horizontal shaft engines, EB11000, ES6500, and EX5500 generators, and H1011, H2013, and H2113 riding mowers and lawn tractors, including a range of serial-number breaks across those models
- Verify Before Ordering — Honda supersedes hardware at specific serial breaks, so cross-reference your machine's serial number against the fitment table to confirm part number 90306-463-740 is correct for your unit
- Direct OEM Replacement — replaces the original nut like-for-like with no additional hardware required, keeping your battery circuit intact and the terminal seated correctly
The battery terminal nut secures the electrical cable or lead to the battery terminal post, maintaining a firm mechanical and electrical connection in the circuit. A loose or missing nut allows the cable to work free under vibration, causing intermittent power loss, difficult starting, or a complete loss of electrical function in the equipment. Replacing a worn or damaged nut with the correct genuine OEM part restores a solid, low-resistance connection and keeps the battery circuit operating as Honda intended.
