The Honda 90409-952-000 is a genuine OEM Washer (10mm) used across a wide range of Honda equipment, including GXV160 vertical shaft engines, EB5000 and EM5000 generators, EU6500, EU7000, EB7000, and EM7000 inverter generators, and Honda HR-series lawn mowers. As a genuine Honda part, it is manufactured to the same standards as the original component it replaces, ensuring correct fit without modification. Honda supersedes parts at serial number breaks, so confirm your machine's serial number against the fitment table before ordering.
Key Features
- Genuine OEM Construction — sourced directly from Honda, this washer meets the original dimensional and material specifications for each application it serves
- Broad Cross-Equipment Fitment — covers GXV160 vertical shaft engines, EB5000 and EM5000 generators, EU6500, EU7000, EB7000 and EM7000 inverter generators, and HR-series lawn mowers including the HRC216, HRB215, HRM215 and more
- Verify Before Ordering — Honda updates part numbers at production serial breaks; check your machine's serial number against the fitment table to confirm this is the correct washer for your unit
- Correct Clamping Load — a properly sized washer distributes fastener load evenly across the mating surface; an incorrect size or worn washer can allow fastener loosening or surface damage over time
A washer serves as a load-distributing interface between a fastener and the surface it bears against. By spreading the clamping force across a wider area, it protects the mating surface from damage and helps the fastener maintain consistent tension through vibration and thermal cycling. In equipment that runs under sustained load — engines, generators, and mowers alike — using the correct-size washer is essential to keeping assemblies securely torqued and functioning as intended.
