The Honda 90627-SA5-003 Wire Harness Clip (50MM) is a genuine OEM component designed for the ES6500 and EX5500 generators, EV4010, EV6010, and EVD4010 RV generators, and GX360 horizontal shaft engines. As a direct Honda OEM replacement, this clip is manufactured to the same standards as the original part it replaces, ensuring a proper fit across all listed applications. Verify your model and serial number against the fitment table before ordering, as Honda updates parts at production breaks and the correct clip for your unit depends on your specific serial range.
Key Features
- Genuine OEM Retention — manufactured by Honda to hold wire harnesses securely, preventing chafing, vibration-induced wear, and loose wiring in demanding generator and engine environments
- 50MM Clip Size — the (50MM) designation identifies this specific variant; confirm this size matches the original clip in your unit before ordering
- Broad OEM Fitment — listed for the ES6500, EX5500, EV4010, EV6010, and EVD4010 generators and RV generators, as well as GX360 engines, including multiple serial ranges across these platforms
- Serial Number Verification Recommended — Honda supersedes clips at production breaks, so cross-check your machine's serial number against the fitment table to confirm this is the right clip for your unit
A wire harness clip secures and routes the wiring harness within a generator or engine, keeping cables organized and protected from heat, vibration, and abrasion during operation. When a clip breaks or goes missing, the harness is free to move, which can cause wires to chafe against moving parts or hot surfaces and eventually lead to shorts, intermittent electrical faults, or a complete loss of function. Replacing a worn or broken clip with the correct OEM part restores proper harness management and helps protect the electrical system over the long term.
