The Honda 90651-SB2-003 Wire Harness Clip (13mm) (Gray) is a genuine OEM component designed for a broad range of Honda equipment, including BF40 and BF50 outboard motors, EL5000 and ES6500 generators, the FR700 tiller, H5013 and RT5000 multi-purpose tractors, the H6522 compact tractor, and HT3810, HT3813, and HT4213 lawn tractors. As a direct Honda OEM part, it matches the original specification exactly, so no guesswork is needed when replacing a worn or missing clip. Because this part carries a size qualifier — 13mm — and fits machines across several equipment classes, buyers should confirm the clip size on their unit before ordering.
Key Features
- Genuine OEM Retention — sourced directly from Honda, this clip matches the original 13mm diameter and gray color specification, ensuring the wire harness seats and holds exactly as designed.
- Cross-Equipment Compatibility — a single Honda OEM part number covering BF40 and BF50 outboards, EL5000 and ES6500 generators, the FR700 tiller, H5013 and RT5000 multi-purpose tractors, the H6522 compact tractor, and HT3810, HT3813, and HT4213 lawn tractors.
- Verify the Size First — Honda supersedes and updates clips at production breaks; confirm the 13mm diameter and gray color against your machine's serial number in the fitment table before ordering.
- Harness Protection — a secure, properly sized clip keeps wiring routed away from heat, moving components, and abrasion, preventing chafing damage that can cause intermittent electrical faults.
A wire harness clip is a small retaining fastener that holds bundled electrical wiring in a fixed, protected path through the machine. By keeping cables organized and anchored, it prevents the harness from vibrating loose or contacting components that could wear through the insulation. When a clip is missing or broken, wires can shift over time, leading to chafing, shorts, or intermittent electrical failures that are often difficult to diagnose.
