A cable tie is a bundling and routing fastener used to secure wiring harnesses and cables within the generator enclosure. By keeping cables organized and away from moving parts or heat sources, it helps maintain the integrity of the electrical system over time. A broken or missing cable tie can allow wiring to shift or chafe, increasing the risk of electrical faults within the generator.
