Key Features
- Genuine OEM Construction — manufactured by Honda to the exact dimensions of the original, ensuring the clip seats and retains the cord the way it was designed to from day one
- Broad OEM Fitment — listed for GX610 and GX620 horizontal shaft engines and EV4010, EV6010, and EVD4010 RV generators; verify your serial number against the fitment table to confirm the correct application
- Direct Drop-In Replacement — installs in place of the original with no additional hardware or adaptation required, restoring proper cord management and retention
A cord clip is a small but purposeful retaining component that holds a wire or cable in position within the machine, preventing it from shifting, chafing against moving parts, or pulling free from its routing path. Keeping a cord correctly secured protects the wiring from wear and ensures connections remain intact during operation. When this clip is missing or broken, wiring can work loose over time, leading to intermittent faults or accelerated wear on the harness.
