The Honda 90690-GHB-671 Cable Clip (25mm) is a genuine OEM component designed for H4514, H4518, and H6522 lawn and compact tractors. As a direct Honda replacement, this clip carries the same specification as the part that left the factory, so no fitting adjustments are needed. Honda supersedes parts at serial breaks, so confirm your machine's serial number against the fitment table before ordering. With part number 90690-GHB-671 sourced straight from Honda's OEM catalogue, buyers can order with confidence that the fit is correct for the listed models.
Key Features
- Genuine OEM Specification — manufactured to Honda's exact dimensions for the 25mm cable diameter, ensuring the clip holds its routing position without slipping or binding
- Exact Replacement — matches the original part directly, installing into the existing mounting point on H4514, H4518, and H6522 tractors without modification
- Secure Cable Retention — a properly seated cable clip keeps control cables on the correct path; a missing or damaged clip allows cables to shift, causing erratic or unresponsive control feel
- Serial Number Dependent — Honda updates component specifications at production breaks, so cross-check your tractor's serial number against the fitment table to confirm this is the correct clip for your unit
A cable clip is a small retaining fastener that holds a control cable in its designed routing path on the tractor's frame or body. By keeping the cable aligned and protected from contact with moving parts, the clip ensures smooth, consistent response at the operator controls. When a clip breaks or goes missing, the cable can shift out of position, leading to stiff, sluggish, or inconsistent control action.
