The Honda 91051-ZB4-003 Bearing Assembly (6204) is a genuine OEM component designed for Honda EB, EG, EM, EN, EL, ES, EX, and EZ series generators, including models EB3500, EB3800, EB4000, EB5000, EB6500, EG3500. As a Honda OEM part, it is manufactured to the same specifications as the original component fitted at the factory, ensuring a direct, correct replacement. This Bearing Assembly (6204) fits a wide range of Honda generators, so confirm your generator's model number against the fitment table before ordering.
Key Features
- Genuine OEM Bearing — sourced directly from Honda, this 6204-series bearing assembly meets the exact dimensional and load tolerances specified for these generators, not a generic substitute.
- Broad Generator Coverage — listed for Honda EB, EG, EM, EN, EL, ES, EX, and EZ series conventional generators, including models from EB3500 through EG6500 and beyond.
- Verify Your Model — Honda supersedes and reassigns bearing part numbers across production runs; always confirm your generator's model and serial number against the fitment table to ensure this is the correct assembly for your unit.
- Smooth Alternator Operation — a worn or failed bearing introduces vibration, heat, and eventual seizure into the alternator shaft, disrupting power output; replacing it with the correct OEM part restores smooth, steady rotation.
The Bearing Assembly (6204) supports the rotating shaft inside the generator's alternator, allowing it to spin freely with minimal friction under continuous load. When this bearing wears, it can cause audible rumbling, increased heat, shaft play, and ultimately alternator failure — cutting off power output entirely. Replacing it with the correct Honda OEM bearing restores proper shaft alignment and rotation, keeping the alternator running at its rated capacity.
