The Honda 91152-V09-A01 Retainer is a genuine OEM replacement component designed for HA4118 and HA4120 lawn tractors. Sourced directly from Honda, this retainer carries the exact specifications Honda engineers built into these machines, ensuring a correct, trouble-free installation. If your retainer is worn, damaged, or missing, replacing it with the genuine part number 91152-V09-A01 is the straightforward path to restoring proper function.
Key Features
- Genuine Honda OEM — manufactured to Honda's original design specification, so this retainer fits and functions exactly as the part it replaces, with no guesswork at installation.
- Correct Retention — a retainer that is worn or deformed can allow components to shift or disengage; this genuine replacement restores the secure hold the assembly depends on.
- Confirmed Fitment — listed for HA4118 and HA4120 lawn tractors; verify your machine's serial number against the fitment table before ordering, as Honda updates part numbers at production breaks.
A retainer is a fastening or locating component used to hold a mating part, bearing, seal, or assembly securely in its intended position within the machine. On lawn tractors such as the HA4118 and HA4120, retainers prevent unwanted movement or separation of the components they secure, keeping the assembly operating as designed. When a retainer becomes cracked, distorted, or lost, the parts it holds can shift or come free, leading to accelerated wear or loss of function in that assembly.
