The Honda 95018-54250 Air Cleaner Connecting Tube Band (54) is a genuine OEM component designed for Honda EB5000, EB7000, EM5000, EM7000, EU6500, and EU7000 generators. As a direct OEM replacement, this band is manufactured to the exact specification Honda requires, ensuring the connecting tube is held securely without slipping or leaking unfiltered air into the intake. Confirm your generator's serial number against the fitment table before ordering, as Honda updates part numbers at production breaks and more than one variant may be listed for these models.
Key Features
- Genuine OEM Retention — sourced directly from Honda, this band delivers the clamping geometry and sizing that the air cleaner connecting tube was engineered around, keeping the tube seated under sustained engine load
- Correct Size Variant — the (54) designation identifies this as a specific diameter band; verify this matches your unit before purchasing, as an incorrect size will not clamp the tube properly
- Broad Generator Fitment — listed for Honda EB5000, EB7000, EM5000, EM7000, EU6500, and EU7000 generators, including both conventional and inverter generator models
- Serial Number Verification Recommended — Honda generators of the same model may use different band variants across production runs; check your serial number against the fitment table to confirm part number 95018-54250 is correct for your unit
The air cleaner connecting tube band secures the rubber or plastic tube that runs between the air cleaner assembly and the engine's intake, forming an airtight connection that ensures only filtered air reaches the carburetor. Without a properly clamped band, the tube can work loose under vibration, allowing unfiltered air — and the abrasive particles it carries — to enter the engine, accelerating internal wear. Replacing a cracked, stretched, or undersized band restores that seal and protects the engine's long-term performance.
