The Honda Q14-0000-018 Shaft is a genuine OEM component designed for WDP20 and WDP30 diaphragm water pumps. As a direct Honda OEM part, it is manufactured to the same specification as the original, ensuring correct fit within the pump's reciprocating drive assembly. This shaft is listed for both the WDP20 and WDP30 — verify your unit's serial number against the fitment table to confirm the correct application before ordering.
Key Features
- Genuine Honda OEM — sourced directly from Honda, this shaft matches the original specification for the WDP20 and WDP30 diaphragm water pumps.
- Diaphragm Pump Compatibility — listed for Honda WDP20 and WDP30 diaphragm water pumps; check your serial number against the fitment table to confirm the right part for your unit.
- Critical Drive Component — a worn or damaged shaft disrupts the reciprocating motion that drives the diaphragm, leading to reduced flow output or complete pump failure.
In a diaphragm water pump such as the WDP20 and WDP30, the shaft is a core element of the mechanical drive system. It transmits power from the engine to the crank mechanism, which converts rotational motion into the back-and-forth movement that flexes the diaphragm and moves water through the pump. When this shaft wears or fails, the diaphragm can no longer cycle correctly, resulting in a significant drop in pumping performance or a pump that stops moving water altogether.
