The Genie 237194GT Lower Radiator Hose, Deutz D2.9 is a genuine OEM cooling hose built for Genie S-65 XC, S-45 XC, Z-62/40, and Z-45 XC boom lifts. As a direct OEM replacement, this hose is manufactured to the same specification as the original part, ensuring a correct connection in the Deutz D2.9 engine cooling circuit. Cross-reference part number 237194GT against your machine's parts manual to confirm it is the right hose for your unit before ordering.
Key Features
- Genuine OEM Cooling Hose — manufactured to Genie's original specification for the Deutz D2.9 engine, maintaining correct flow rate and temperature resistance for the cooling circuit it serves.
- Exact OEM Fit — engineered to match the original routing, end fittings, and diameter, so this hose connects correctly without modification.
- Verified Fitment — designed for Genie S-65 XC, S-45 XC, Z-62/40, and Z-45 XC boom lifts equipped with the Deutz D2.9 engine.
- Coolant Integrity — a sound lower radiator hose maintains proper coolant flow between the engine and radiator; a cracked or weeping hose causes coolant loss and risks engine overheating.
- Operational Safety — engine overheating from a failed cooling hose can trigger a shutdown at height; replacing a worn hose with the correct OEM part keeps the cooling system operating within safe limits.
The lower radiator hose carries coolant from the bottom of the radiator back to the engine, completing the cooling loop that keeps the Deutz D2.9 engine within its safe operating temperature range. When this hose cracks, softens, or develops a leak, coolant is lost, coolant pressure drops, and the engine is at risk of overheating — which can result in a machine shutdown and unplanned downtime. Replacing a worn or damaged hose with the correct OEM part restores the integrity of the cooling circuit and protects the engine from heat-related damage.
