The Genie 58292GT is a genuine OEM Perkins Radiator Hose built for Genie and Terex portable light towers, including the AL4000, AL4, and RL4. As a factory-original part, it meets the exact routing, diameter, and material specifications of the hose it replaces. This part is confirmed for Perkins-powered units in the AL and RL light tower families, so cross-reference part number 58292GT against your machine's parts manual to verify fitment for your specific unit before ordering.
Key Features
- Genuine OEM Construction — Sourced directly from Genie as a factory-original component, this radiator hose meets the same material and dimensional standards as the part that left the factory.
- Perkins Engine Compatibility — Engineered specifically for Perkins-powered light towers, ensuring correct end sizing, hose length, and coolant routing without modification.
- Direct Replacement Fit — Designed to install in place of the original hose with no trimming or adapters required, maintaining the integrity of the cooling circuit it serves.
- Light Tower Fitment — Fits Genie AL4000, AL4, and Terex RL4 portable light towers, covering a range of jobsite lighting equipment in the AL and RL families.
- Cooling System Integrity — A sound, correctly routed radiator hose keeps coolant flowing between the engine and radiator. A cracked, swollen, or leaking hose can cause the engine to overheat and shut down, taking the light tower out of service.
A radiator hose carries coolant between the engine and the radiator, allowing the cooling system to regulate engine temperature during operation. On Perkins-powered light towers like the AL4000, AL4, and RL4, the engine runs continuously for extended periods, making an intact, properly sealed hose essential to keeping the unit running without interruption. When a radiator hose cracks, collapses, or develops a leak, coolant is lost and the engine is at risk of overheating — replacing a worn hose promptly with the correct OEM part is the straightforward fix.
