The Genie 1285269GT is a genuine OEM Upper Radiator Hose designed for the Genie Z-80/60 articulating boom lift. Confirm part number 1285269GT against your machine's parts manual to ensure correct fitment for your unit.
Key Features
- Genuine OEM Construction — Made to the same material grade and dimensional spec as the original, ensuring a proper seal and correct routing within the cooling circuit.
- Direct-Fit Replacement — Engineered to match the original hose routing, clamp positions, and end fittings on the Z-80/60 for a straightforward swap.
- Purpose-Built Fitment — Confirmed fit for the Genie Z-80/60 articulating boom lift; always cross-reference part number 1285269GT with your parts manual before ordering.
- Cooling System Integrity — A sound upper radiator hose maintains proper coolant flow to the radiator, keeping engine temperatures in the correct operating range and preventing overheating.
- Operational Safety — A cracked, swollen, or weeping radiator hose can cause rapid coolant loss and engine damage — replacing it promptly with the correct OEM part keeps the machine running safely.
The upper radiator hose carries coolant from the engine to the top of the radiator, where heat is expelled before the cooled fluid returns to the engine. When this hose deteriorates — through cracking, swelling, or collar wear — coolant loss follows, and the engine risks overheating during operation. On an articulating boom like the Z-80/60, where cycles are long and working heights are significant, a failed hose can force an unplanned shutdown at height. Replacing a worn hose with the correct Genie OEM part restores the full integrity of the cooling circuit and keeps the machine operating within safe temperature limits.
