When most people begin having fuel issues on their machines, the carburetor is always the prime suspect. This is because it does control the flow of fuel, but before ordering you should check a few things to make sure the carburetor is where your issue lies. Make sure fuel is freely flowing from the tank to the carburetor without any obstructions. Also make sure the carburetor’s gaskets are properly sealed and there are no rips or tears in these gaskets. Damaged gaskets will allow air leaks, and your engine will not run properly. If these have been checked, then the carburetor is likely the issue. For most of our carburetors we offer a carburetor rebuild kit. For this carburetor two are offered, one carburetor kit includes the diaphragm and needles (506410004) and one with only the diaphragms (506409902), but if you would rather not rebuild them, we do offer this complete carburetor. Don’t forget to purchase the carburetor gasket either, this only uses one gasket between the air box and the carburetor (506376804) and uses the inlet pipe to seal the other side of the carburetor.
