The Genie 1289714GT is a genuine OEM RL4 Complete Mast Replacement Kit designed for the RL4 Vertical Mast and RL4 LED Vertical Mast light towers. As a factory-sourced assembly, this kit delivers the correct components to restore the mast system to its original specification without sourcing individual parts separately. Cross-reference part number 1289714GT against your machine's parts manual to confirm it is the correct kit for your unit before ordering.
Key Features
- Genuine OEM Construction — Sourced directly from Genie, this kit meets the same dimensional and material standards as the original mast assembly, ensuring a consistent, repeatable repair.
- Complete Kit Format — Supplied as a full replacement assembly for the RL4 mast, eliminating the need to identify and source individual components separately.
- Verified RL4 Fitment — Confirmed for the RL4 Vertical Mast and RL4 LED Vertical Mast light towers; always cross-reference part number 1289714GT with your serial-number-specific parts manual before ordering.
- Restored Lifting Function — A worn or damaged mast prevents the light head from reaching operating height, compromising site illumination. Replacing the mast assembly with the correct OEM kit returns the tower to full operational height.
- Operational Safety — The mast is a structural load-bearing component on a light tower. Using a genuine OEM replacement kit maintains the structural integrity the machine was designed and rated to deliver.
The mast on an RL4 light tower is the vertical lifting column that raises and lowers the light head to its working height above grade. When the mast is damaged, worn, or otherwise unable to extend and lock securely, the light head cannot reach its intended elevation and the tower cannot perform its primary function safely. A complete mast replacement kit provides all the necessary components to rebuild this assembly in a single service event, returning the unit to full operating condition and keeping the structure sound for continued use on the jobsite.
