Key Features
- Genuine OEM Construction — Manufactured to Genie's original specifications, delivering the dimensional accuracy and material grade required for a correctly functioning mechanical brake assembly.
- Complete Kit Format — Supplies the spare tire and mechanical brake components together, so technicians have the correct parts on hand without sourcing individual pieces separately.
- Direct Fit for the TZ-34/20 — Engineered specifically for the TZ-34/20 trailer-mounted articulating boom, with no adaptation needed for installation.
- Mechanical Brake Integrity — A properly maintained mechanical brake system on a towable boom is essential for safe transport and parking. This kit supports correct brake function and keeps the trailer compliant with towing safety requirements.
- Minimizes Time Off the Job — Having the correct OEM spare tire and brake kit available means the machine can be returned to service quickly after a tire or brake servicing event.
The mechanical brake on a trailer-mounted boom lift engages when the unit is parked or being towed, holding the machine securely and preventing unintended movement. A spare tire kit paired with the mechanical brake assembly ensures that both rolling and braking components are addressed together during servicing. Using the correct Genie OEM kit for the TZ-34/20 ensures the brake mechanism operates as designed and that the replacement tire meets the trailer's load and fitment requirements.
