The Genie 865276GT Kubota Muffler is a genuine OEM component designed for Genie and Terex portable light towers, including the AL4000, AL5000, AL4, AL5, AL5HT, and RL4 series. As a direct OEM replacement, this muffler matches the original specification and installs without modification, keeping your light tower running as intended. Cross-reference part number 865276GT against your machine's parts manual to confirm it is the correct item for your specific unit before ordering.
Key Features
- Genuine OEM Exhaust Component — manufactured to the same specification as the original Kubota muffler, ensuring correct material grade, dimensional fit, and exhaust outlet compatibility.
- Direct-Fit Replacement — engineered to bolt in place of the original without alteration, restoring the engine exhaust system to its factory configuration.
- Broad Light Tower Coverage — fits multiple Genie and Terex portable light tower models, including the AL4000, AL5000, AL4, AL5, AL5HT, and RL4 series.
- Engine Noise and Exhaust Management — a sound, correctly fitted muffler controls exhaust output and reduces engine noise; a cracked or failing unit compromises both performance and operator environment on the jobsite.
- Operational Safety — proper exhaust routing and containment are essential on generator-powered light towers; replacing a damaged muffler with a genuine OEM part maintains correct exhaust flow and reduces exposure risk.
A muffler routes engine exhaust gases away from the machine and dampens combustion noise to a manageable level. On Kubota-powered light towers, the muffler is an engine-bay component subject to heat cycling, vibration, and outdoor exposure — conditions that can cause cracking, corrosion, or joint failure over time. A damaged or missing muffler increases exhaust noise, directs hot gases unpredictably, and can affect engine back-pressure in ways that reduce output. Replacing a worn unit with the correct OEM part restores proper exhaust flow and keeps the generator set running cleanly through extended lighting operations.
