Key Features
- Genuine OEM Exhaust Specification — Manufactured to Multiquip's exact exhaust system standards for the HHNG5, ensuring correct backpressure and thermal performance for the engine.
- Complete Service Kit — Includes all components needed for a proper muffler service, eliminating the guesswork of sourcing individual hardware or gaskets separately.
- Direct Fitment for HHNG5 Trowels — Engineered specifically for the Whiteman HHNG5 ride-on power trowel, bolting directly into the existing exhaust mounting points.
- Restored Engine Breathing and Performance — A worn or damaged muffler causes increased noise, reduced engine efficiency, and potential heat-related issues; this kit brings exhaust function back to spec.
- Emissions and Noise Compliance — Replacing a failed muffler with a genuine OEM kit helps maintain the machine's designed exhaust emissions output and on-site noise levels.
The muffler on a ride-on power trowel manages exhaust gases produced by the engine, reducing noise and directing hot gases safely away from the operator and machine components. A properly functioning muffler also helps maintain the correct exhaust backpressure that the engine relies on for efficient combustion. When a muffler cracks, corrodes, or loses its seal, it can lead to excessive noise, reduced engine output, and unwanted heat exposure near sensitive components — making timely service with the correct kit essential.
