The Multiquip 0191400600 Suction Hose is a genuine OEM Suction Hose designed for the DCA400SSI ultra-silent diesel generator. As a direct Multiquip OEM component, it is manufactured to the exact specifications required by the DCA400SSI, ensuring a proper, secure connection within the fuel or fluid system. DHS Equipment stocks this part to keep your generator running at full capacity with zero compromises on fit or material quality.
Key Features
- OEM-Grade Hose Construction — Built to Multiquip's exact material and dimensional specifications, ensuring the correct inner diameter, wall thickness, and flexibility for sustained fuel or fluid flow.
- Direct-Fit Installation — Engineered to connect to the existing fittings and routing points on the DCA400SSI without modification, allowing a straightforward swap during service.
- Confirmed DCA400SSI Compatibility — Verified fitment for the Multiquip DCA400SSI ultra-silent diesel generator series, so you can order with confidence.
- Sustained Flow Integrity — A properly functioning suction hose maintains consistent fluid transfer; a cracked or degraded hose can cause pressure loss, air ingestion, or fluid leaks that interrupt generator operation.
- Fuel System Safety — OEM hose material resists fuel degradation and permeation, helping to prevent leaks that could pose a fire or environmental hazard in a confined generator enclosure.
The suction hose is responsible for drawing fuel or fluid from the source reservoir to the engine or pump system within the generator. It must maintain an airtight, leak-free seal under the negative pressure created during suction — any crack, softening, or loose connection allows air to enter the line, which can starve the engine of fuel and cause erratic output or shutdown. Over time, hose material degrades from heat cycling and prolonged contact with fuel, making periodic inspection and timely replacement essential to uninterrupted generator performance.
